Locum GPs Wanted – Make a Meaningful Impact in Aboriginal Medical Services
NOTE: These are all ON-SITE roles.
We're currently seeking Fellowed GPs to work as locums in Aboriginal Medical Service (AMS) clinics across Australia.
These roles offer more than just great remuneration and flexible contracts – they're an opportunity to contribute to culturally safe, community-led healthcare and make a genuine difference.
You'll ideally bring:
* A passion for improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
* An interest in holistic, patient-centred care (chronic disease, preventive health, and continuity of care)
* Cultural respect and curiosity, with a willingness to learn and work within community-controlled health models
* Confidence working in rural, remote or regional settings (experience in AMS or similar environments is highly regarded)
* Strong teamwork skills - AMS clinics are multidisciplinary and relationship-driven
