Asset Management Specialist Job Opportunity

The position of Asset Management Specialist involves assisting in the management and governance of asset data to support the overall asset management framework and strategic plans across contracts.

This role works closely with cross-functional teams throughout the organization, ensuring that assets are managed and data is accurate. The specialist will produce ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual asset reports and lead account-mandated audits and contractual reporting obligations.

This is a 6-month contract position with a view to extend, based in the Melbourne Burwood East office, with some travel required to various sites around Metropolitan Melbourne. Travel expenses will be reimbursed where applicable. Flexibility to work from home is available.

Key Responsibilities:

* Data management and governance to ensure data is maintained with accuracy and detail.

* Provision and maintain accurate data within the asset database and ITSM systems.
">
* Build and maintain reports and procedures to detect and resolve inconsistencies in the asset database.

* Liaise with internal stakeholders in the organization to ensure asset management procedures are followed and refined.
">
* Conduct asset audits through site inspections.
">
* Ensure asset management deliverables are fully aligned within the scope of contracts.
">
* Assist in the development and implementation of asset management strategies and policies.
">
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective asset management practices.
">
* Identify and report on asset management risks and opportunities.
">

Requirements:
">
">
* Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in asset data management and extraction.
">
* Experience in asset management, including data entry, data extraction, and data cleansing skills.
">
* Advanced skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivots, and Power Query).
">
* Xtraction queries and dashboards.
">
* Experience in BMC Remedy.
">
* Specific experience in radio, console, and network infrastructure asset management.
">
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
">
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
">
* Able to work effectively in a team environment.
">
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
