We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in the role of Sales and Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in identifying and securing new business opportunities within the gas market.
Key Responsibilities:
* To increase our presence in gas markets by building relationships with existing and new customers.
* To identify new product/service opportunities for the company.
* To respond to tenders, negotiate and close larger contracts.
Requirements:
* A sound knowledge of relevant Australian Gas acts, regulations, standards, and international codes.
* A sound knowledge in gas systems and components and their applications.
* An appropriate academic background given the level of the position.
* Demonstrable sales and business development experience in the gas market or a comparable relevant market.
* The ability to source and respond to tenders.
* The ability to identify growth areas and to obtain opportunities within these growth areas.
* Cost estimating, procurement sales, and commercial acumen.
* The ability to bring the team along with you on new initiatives.
