Randstad is currently working with a sovereign defence manufacturer of high-tech defence systems that is integrated onto various defence platforms operating in mission critical environments. They are looking for an experienced systems engineer to work on a project to support the Australian Defence force to enhance their surveillance, air battlespace management and air defence systems. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Adelaide. About the Role Conduct major engineering assignments in collaboration with other members of the project engineering team. Perform requirement analysis and design and implement engineering solutions to meet the regulatory requirements and customers' needs. Conduct verification and validation and prepare verification plans and procedures. Conduct and manage system testing activities, as well as identify system requirements and manage configuration. About you A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Computer science, Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related discipline). Extensive V&V experience with mission-critical systems. Proficient in hardware and/or software installation and configuration. Experience with Voice Communications Systems, Radios, Telephony (VoIP, analog or digital). Experience with working on all phases of System Development Life Cycle. Experience working with complex defence projects (desirable).
