Technical Trainer Position
We are seeking a skilled Technical Trainer to elevate our service technicians' expertise through effective training programs and instructional development.
Main Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with service managers and supervisors to develop technician development paths and schedules.
* Deliver high-quality training as a Certified Dealer Instructor (CDI) or as an in-house expert, focusing on equipment operation and repair.
* Create educational curriculum for continuous improvement and quality, ensuring alignment with organizational performance goals.
* Identify resources for creating classroom, hands-on, and online training courses that meet organizational objectives.
* Evaluate student competence in heavy equipment operation and repair using accurate assessment methods.
* Maintain up-to-date training materials, including course outlines and instructional design documents.
* Schedule training sessions and communicate clear information to participants, promoting transparency and accountability.
* Document and report student evaluation scores and attendance records, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
* Liaise with external agencies, such as John Deere, to support training initiatives and stay current with industry developments.
