Overview
Lead the energy, drive results, and inspire your team as Health Club Coordinator at Gympie Aquatic Recreation Centre. This is a full-time role to develop high quality health and fitness programs for members and the local community, contributing to the centre's strategic direction and continuous improvement.
We're looking for a motivated Health Club Coordinator to run day-to-day operations, grow member engagement, and deliver strong business performance.
Responsibilities
* Oversee safe, high-quality fitness programs and drive member engagement and attendance targets
* Maximise group fitness participation
* Support sales with new member onboarding
* Lead, coach, and develop your team
* Maintain top standards, equipment safety, and compliance
* Deliver exceptional customer service
* Drive business growth and performance
This position can be part time (20 hours) or full time (38 hours per week).
Qualifications and Skills
* Previous experience and success in a comparable role
* Energetic, innovative and decisive leadership style
* Target planning and monitoring experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Understanding of OHS and public safety applications in public buildings
Skills and Experience
* Certificate III in Fitness or higher
* Good knowledge of health club protocols and customer expectations
* Experience in managing conflict resolution and delivery of high level customer service
* Experience in leading a team, managing rosters and employee relations as required
* First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2)
* CPR Certificate
* Working With Children Check
* Computer literacy, familiarity with software packages and point of sale systems
* Fitness Australia (or equivalent) registration
* National Criminal Records Check
