Entry‑Level Driller's Offsider
What the Job Looks Like
As a Driller's Offsider, you'll be right there on the ground, supporting experienced drillers and learning the trade from the inside out. Every day is hands‑on, physical, and full of challenges.
Your Daily Responsibilities
* Supporting the Driller: Assist with the safe operation and maintenance of drilling rigs and equipment.
* Heavy Lifting and Equipment Handling: Move drill rods, tools, and core samples.
* Operating Support Machinery: Safely use vehicles and machinery vital to drilling operations.
* Site Upkeep: Keep the worksite organised, safe, and compliant.
* Core Sample Management: Retrieve, label, and store geological samples correctly.
* Safety: Follow strict safety protocols at all times.
The Reality Check
This job is not for everyone.
Expect 12-hour days in hot, dusty, demanding conditions. Expect to be away from home on a 2 : 1 roster. Expect to be tired.

* Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (no Working Holiday Visas).
* WA residency (point of hire is Perth).
* Manual driver's licence (HR highly regarded).
