What are we looking for?
- Do you have experience in banking and finance? Are you an experienced Legal Assistant looking for something different? Then this opportunity could be just what you are looking forJoin our National Settlements Team This is a permanent full-time role based in our Ringwood office, however we are open to discussions around flexible hours and days of work. This is a great way to broaden your existing administration skill base into the area of billing and settlements and explore new opportunities and challenges as you work with a collaborative and supportive team.Our centralised Settlements team work with the legal teams to help finalise and settle legal matters. There is plenty of opportunity to work alongside experienced lawyers and support staff to reach shared goals. In the role you can expect to be responsible for:
- Establish and maintain professional working relationships with key stakeholders
- Preparing and finalising bills
- Accurate accounting
- Allocation and distribution of client compensation
- Communicating with Clients, Statutory bodies, other Legal firms and Insurers
- Understanding and keeping up to date with changes to cost and trust regulations
- Financial and debt review
- Actively contribute to the enhancement of processes and procedures
