Collect, synthesize, and report project performance and financial metrics for management decision making.
- Provide visibility to the status (budget, schedule, scope, risks) of all projects for consumption by Project Managers (PM's), Project Sponsors, and Enterprise Program Management Office
- Support communication and transparency across the teams and up to senior leadership.
- Drive increased quality in project management execution.
- Monitor project progress and work outputs and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Ensure necessary program/project activities are being adequately addressed and advise and mentor to address gaps.
The role is relevant for One Australia, i.e. for all the Australia business units, including Attune and Bay Audio.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Oversee IT projects assigned by the Enterprise Manager (business continuity, data governance, Data Quality, process improvements)
- Track, monitor and mitigate risks
- Support Enterprise manager on budget definition and actual monitoring
- Establishing and writing policies
- Creating documentation
- Researching and implementing standards/tools
- Manage and develop processes
- Comply with local and corporate standard, policies and governance
- Managing vendors
- Liaising with internal and external teams to improve IT services and processes to minimize outages and service delivery lead times.
- Negotiate service contracts with vendors together with the IT operations manager
- Managing service contracts lifecycle
- Manage vendor teams and relationships together with the IT operations team
- Ensure adoption of global tools working together with Corporate IT leaders
- Disseminating a service mentality mindset
- Acting as a backup for supervisor and other IT staff when needed and involved in knowledge sharing
- Disseminating IT information to relevant users
**About You**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline
- 3+ year experience in project governance or PMO preferred. Experience in project management.
- Experience within a technology organization
- Comfortable using Excel
- Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals
- Experience working in a PMO would be preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to articulate complex issues concisely.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work across organizations and through obstacles
- ITIL and Prince2 or PMP Certification (desirable)
- Proven experience with retail business (desirable)
