The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Audiologist - Advanced (Ear, Nose and Throat) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Lead and deliver specialised, independent and evidence-based clinical audiology services
- Establish and maintain local evidence based clinical protocols and guidelines
- Provide, maintain, monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes for the service
- Contribute to the professional body of knowledge through research publication in peer reviewed journals
About you
**To be successful in this position you will require**:
- Possession of a tertiary degree in Audiology (or equivalent qualification)
- Audiology Australia Registration
- Working with Children's check
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent part time (15.2 hours per fortnight)
- Base salary ranging from $70.99 - $74.07 per hour
About Us
The Audiology service for Gold Coast Health is located at the Gold Coast University Hospital and closely located alongside the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) services. Audiology within Gold Coast Health predominantly supports children referred for audiological testing under the Queensland Healthy Hearing program and patients of all ages referred by hospital specialists teams including ENT, Respiratory, Oncology, Paediatrics and Child Development Services
