Our client, a Financial Services provider have partnered exclusively with Perigon Group on the position of Financial Analyst to support their growing FPA Finance Function.
**The Role as Financial Analyst**
- Produce quality monthly Management packs taking ownership for the delivery and timing thereof with variance analysis and insightful commentary of Actuals to Budget and Forecast
- Continually strive to enhance and improve the level of analysis and commentary
- Understand, effectively use and develop the Management Reporting System (TM1) and processes around it to develop and improve the Management Reporting, performance monitoring and drive the Budgeting and Forecasting process
- Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasting
- Providing weekly reporting on volume take up, revenue and expense trends analysis and commentary to management for different reporting entities
- Provide the Financial Accountants with relevant financial inputs and analysis to enable the Financial Control with month end accruals
- Responsible for the regular running of reports and models to produce output for decision making. This includes working with "Big" data
- Extract, formulate, cleanse and manipulate data for analysis and reporting to support business improvement activities
**Requirements**:
- Mid-level, relevant professional experience
- Possess accounting qualifications such as CA/CPA/ACA/CIMA
- Proven experience financial & management accounting experience in complex budgeting and forecasting processes
- Solid exposure to TM1 or similar OLAP systems, plus familiarity with a General Ledger (e.g. Oracle) is desirable - Advanced MS Excel skills
