About the role
The Warehouse Manager role is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations at Computer Room Solutions Pty Ltd, based in Dandenong South. This full-time role plays a key part in ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant storage, handling, assembly, and dispatch of goods. The position leads a warehouse team to deliver operational excellence, maintain accurate inventory control, and uphold CRS's quality and safety standards.
Reporting directly to the Head of Manufacturing & Warehouse, this role requires a proactive and organised leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
· Lead and supervise warehouse staff to ensure efficient inbound and outbound operations.
· Plan and manage packaging, assembly and customer logistics functions.
· Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software.
· Oversee the upkeep of warehouse machinery, equipment, and vehicles.
Quality Assurance & Health and Safety
· Enforce CRS HSEQ and Quality Standards (ISO, Microsoft, and other third-party requirements).
· Ensure finished products are inspected for accuracy and defects, ensuring all products meet CRS quality standards.
· Ensure team members are trained and understand CRS drawings, and assembly details and processes.
· Conduct regular cyclic stock counts and stocktaking.
· Ensure all health, safety, and security procedures are adhered to.
· Conduct regular audits, inspections, and incident reporting where required.
· Inspect and approve the quality and quantity of goods received and dispatched.
Process & Continuous Improvement
· Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
· Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
· Provide regular feedback and operational reporting to management.
· Implement and maintain quality control standards and documentation.
Collaboration & Communication
· Liaise with drivers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
· Communicate with the Project Admin team to stay informed of project status and RFIs.
· Generate and action pick lists, sales orders, and package per specified requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Tertiary qualification in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
· years' experience in Warehouse Operations, Logistics, or Quality Assurance.
· Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems or ERP systems.
· Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to foster collaboration and motivate staff.
· Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
· Resilience and ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
Valid driver's licence and forklift licence (required).
