As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for a portfolio of existing customers. Utilizing your passion for technology and excellent customer service skills, you'll create the ultimate experience and ensure our customers remain advocates. You'll work alongside technical specialists, delivery, and service teams to ensure customers are receiving brilliant outcomes. You'll also assist in sales activities across core product sets (mobility, collaboration, network, and cloud) with access to specialists to help develop prospects into opportunities.
You'll provide advanced solutions and best practice guidance, make decisions based on your commercial acumen and understanding of the market. You'll also coordinate with other people in the business to support customers with sales, deployment, and marketing to turn our business goals into a reality.
**Responsibilities**
Be accountable for nurturing and managing customer relationships by utilizing expertise in their business and companies products/services to foster ongoing relationship development, drive customer satisfaction, and contribute to portfolio growth.
Support the formulation and maintenance of assigned account/portfolio plans, including leading the account strategy to ensure customer portfolio retention and expansion.
Take ownership of customer relationships, promptly addressing queries and complaints, and escalating issues and risks to more experienced team members when needed, ensuring timely resolution and mediation.
Collaborate genuinely with colleagues, team members, and key stakeholders to identify and qualify leads, effectively managing the opportunity pipeline for a defined portfolio.
Assist in generating regular reports to monitor portfolio performance against predefined financial and customer targets.
Actively contribute to customer initiatives (e.g., account planning sessions, campaign designs) that support strategic business opportunities, significantly influencing portfolio retention and growth.
**Requirements**:
Proven relationship management experience with medium to large corporate customers.
Track record in either an MSP or telco/ICT services organization.
Experience with local government is welcomed but not necessary.
Experience and knowledge in Telstra and Microsoft business products, particularly MS Teams, Intune, etc.
Experience supporting and selling the benefits of managed IT services to businesses.
