You will engage across business units, technology teams, and external partners to ensure the successful implementation of infrastructure solutions that enable operational continuity and innovation.Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Will BeStrategy & Planning Contribute to the development and refinement of infrastructure strategies and roadmaps, with a strong focus on enabling Supply Chain objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technology solutions align with enterprise goals. Architecture Standards & Governance Establish and support the application of architectural standards, documentation, and governance frameworks. Ensure solutions meet compliance, performance, and security requirements. Team Engagement & Support Lead a small group of infrastructure architects and collaborate with architecture peers to share knowledge, build capability, and foster an inclusive and supportive environment. Promote a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing. Infrastructure EnablementGuide the adoption of distributed cloud infrastructure (with emphasis on Azure) and support traditional data centre infrastructure. Lifecycle & Optimisation Support infrastructure lifecycle planning, cost efficiency initiatives, and automation strategies. Apply modern tools and practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), to support scalable infrastructure delivery. Security & Compliance PartnershipPartner with Cyber Security and Operational Technology teams to embed security and compliance into infrastructure design. About You And Your SkillsWe’re looking for someone who brings both technical insight and a collaborative mindset. You enjoy working across disciplines to support infrastructure planning and implementation, and you're comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders to understand needs and deliver outcomes.You’ll Bring Experience In Working as a Principal/Lead Infrastructure Architect or similar in a large-scale enterprise environment. Contributing to the development of infrastructure roadmaps and practices in complex organisations. Supporting and mentoring technical colleagues to grow architectural capability. Expertise in Hybrid Infrastructure – Azure, VMware, HCI, Linux/Windows OS, edge and data centre architecture. Networking & IT/OT Integration – Cisco, secure industrial networks, and converged platforms. Architecture Governance – TOGAF, ITSM, and compliance frameworks. Automation & IaC – Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible, and DevOps-aligned practices. Lifecycle & Cost Optimisation – Planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement of infrastructure assets. Strong relationship-building and communication skills to work effectively with technology teams, business units, and partners.
