**Job Description:**
The Brisbane Heritage team collaborates with our Townsville and Sydney heritage teams to deliver major projects while conserving significant heritage values. Our projects span all Australian states and territories, including Aboriginal, historical, and natural heritage management.
We work in the office and in the field, including remote areas. Our clients include the Defence, transport, rail, and renewable energy sectors.
Our team offers specialist advice in lithic analysis, Aboriginal consultation, historical archaeology, built heritage, and heritage interpretation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Support the team in planning, logistics, and delivery of heritage field survey programs.
* Conduct heritage assessments and prepare reports in accordance with State and Commonwealth legislation.
* Manage spatial data and prepare maps.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Final year student or recent graduate with an Honours (or above) level qualification in heritage, archaeology, or a related field.
* Knowledge and experience in lithic analysis.
* Familiarity with GIS systems.
* Availability and enthusiasm for fieldwork, including remote areas.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
* Australian citizenship for Defence clearance.
* Manual driver's licence.
