About the role
This is an Ongoing Full Time Position.
The Scoping and Development Engineer, based in Regional Transport, leads the design of integrated transport projects in Regional Victoria. They create high-quality, delivery-ready project designs that incorporate stakeholder requirements.

Position accountabilities
* Adherence to Guidelines – The Scoping and Development Engineer has developed project designs in accordance with the DTP technical guidelines.
* Effective Project Design – Ensures the proposed project designs are fully scoped, feasible, costed and documented in accordance with DTP design principles and the DTP Project Management Framework and relevant Project Management tools.
* Stakeholder Management – Requirements from multiple complex stakeholders have been taken into consideration and effectively integrated into project designs.
* Team Cohesion – The incumbent has worked efficiently and has provided constructive contribution as part of a successful design team.
Qualifications and experience
Mandatory
* License (without any restriction which preclude the incumbent from performing the inherent requirements of the position and which cannot be reasonably accommodated by the Department)
Desirable
* Bachelor of Civil Engineering Qualification
