Calling all aspiring Refrigeration Technicians!
Technology and innovation are changing the face of retail every day. At Woolworths, we are focused on sustainability and reducing our environmental impact of refrigeration in our stores. Our refrigeration systems are at the forefront of technology and we are continually innovating and improving in this space. Not only will this apprenticeship provide you an opportunity to develop your career, but you will be trained on some of the most advanced refrigeration systems in the market.
Our teams support our stores, designing and installing refrigeration systems for brand new and existing stores along with servicing and maintaining them to ensure they work around the clock to keep our food fresh.
The purpose of the Refrigeration Apprentice Program is to train and equip you with the necessary skills for a rewarding future in the refrigeration industry. The program offers comprehensive training and hands-on experience, allowing apprentices to become qualified refrigeration technicians.
We are very proud of our Apprentice Program creating a step change for future generations of "Fridgies" where 34% of our apprentices are women.
What You'll experience:
* Over four years, you\'ll gain comprehensive training and hands-on experience, setting you up for a rewarding future as a qualified refrigeration technician.
* Join one of Australia\'s largest refrigeration employers where we put safety and our team & customers first
* Learn from experts in the field, feel encouraged to contribute and share what you learn, with ongoing support and training
* Gain exposure to the installation and service of refrigeration systems
* As part of this program, you will be working across our installation and maintenance teams. This means you will at times be required to work overnight and possibly away from home. This commitment gives you exposure to all areas of refrigeration across the 4 year program, significantly enhancing your skills and learning.
