Reporting to the Queensland Government Architect, the Director, Architecture and Urban Design is a senior advisory role with whole-of-government reach. The role focuses on early-stage visioning, master planning, briefing and design review, where sound judgement and clear advice can meaningfully improve outcomes. This is not a delivery or design management role. Success is achieved through influence, professional credibility and the ability to engage confidently with senior executives, Ministers and multidisciplinary stakeholders on complex and sensitive matters.
