Who is WHAM?
WHAM is a private mobile Exercise Physiology (EP) and Dietetics business that aims to provide patient centred plans catering to the needs and wants of individuals in a way that is meaningful to them. This means we want to think flexibly about the person's care and ensure that we keep them engaged through our interventions and with our own enthusiasm about helping them achieve their goals.
We are a small team who values integrity and transparency above all else. We do this by maintaining open and clear lines of communication with all members of the team.
We are passionate about healthcare and know it comes in many forms, and is best achieved through a collaborative approach with a common goal. This is supported by our vision of being an interdisciplinary team, currently focused on our Dietetics and Exercise Physiology domains. We are expanding our care team to include other allied health professionals to support our clients. We pride ourselves on maintaining regular contact with external agencies in the area to ensure our shared clients get the best benefit from multiple practitioners.

What is the role?
We are offering a casual or part-time role located primarily in the Shoalhaven, with pay to be negotiated based on role and experience.
As part of your job we will need you to:
Complete face-to-face appointments with clients of a variety of ages and conditions (our largest client population is NDIS)
Manage your diary including the contacting of clients and third party to arrange appointments, update on progress, and any other relevant information they require. Admin assistance is available if needed
Complete all appropriate paperwork including writing NDIS reports and clinical notes
Be comfortable working in a range of locations and settings including, homes, gyms, pools and community venues
Assist with the development and implementation of group classes within the community for all ages
Support the creation of educational content for our clients so they have the best tools to help supplement our treatment plans, through health seminars presented at various locations in the Shoalhaven
Maintaining a social media presence through written blogs and promotional materials.

Essential requirements to qualify for the job
ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Holds own professional indemnity insurance and public liability
CPR & First aid
Drivers licence
Working with children check
Willingness to complete modules for entering school grounds, accessing aged care/NDIS/etc where needed

Travel Allowance of $0.96 per km + paid travel time between clients (as you are paid hourly)
Mobile phone + subscriptions to all software provided
CPD allowance of $1200 per year pro rata, to go toward any professional development you want to hone your skills
All exercise equipment provided including assessment/measurement tools
Fortnightly team meetings over lunch and coffee (or hot chocolate!)
