Overview
Senior Associate | Deals - Tangible Asset Valuations at PwC Australia. Our Tangible Assets Valuation team assists clients with data-driven decisions by providing rigorous analysis and insights across asset lifecycles.
Responsibilities
Support delivery of asset due diligence and valuation services through analysis of client data, market research, asset inspections, modelling, strategy and roadmaps development, project management, and preparation of deliverables and recommendations.
Develop and review valuation models for tangible assets and due diligence processes.
Lead meetings and facilitate calls with client management and on-site personnel.
Utilise in-house data and analytics tools for services such as Fixed Asset Register health audits, rebuilds, and CAPEX optimisation.
Assist senior leadership in initiating client work, preparing proposals, and addressing client inquiries.
Support a wide range of capital-intensive industries (e.g., infrastructure, energy, mining, manufacturing, transport, telecommunications, health, utilities, entertainment) for various purposes.
Build trusted relationships within PwC and with clients, and mentor junior team members.
About You
Background in Corporate Finance, Accounting, Engineering (or equivalent STEM) with a Business/Commerce degree.
Strong analytical skills and experience in data analytics, valuations, asset management or accounting.
Proven expertise in performing plant and equipment valuation.
Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills; problem-solver and collaborative mindset.
Membership or eligibility for professional bodies (e.g., American Society of Appraisers, Australian Property Institute, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) and Practising Valuer Certification or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge of software tools (Microsoft Office; ETL and visualization tools like Power BI, Python, Tableau) is favourable.
