Human Resources Manager – Global Law Firm | A rare opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join a prestigious global law firm on a fixed-term contract. Based in the firm's Sydney office, this role will support the firm's people agenda and deliver high-quality HR services across the business.
The Role
As Human Resources Manager, you will partner with senior leadership and practice heads to provide strategic and operational HR support. This position will be responsible for driving employee engagement, leading HR policy implementation, and managing a range of people-related initiatives.
Key responsibilities
* Advising partners and managers on employee relations, performance and workforce planning
* Overseeing recruitment, onboarding and development activities
* Managing the annual performance review and remuneration process
* Supporting wellbeing, inclusion and diversity programs
* Ensuring compliance with local employment legislation and global HR frameworks
About You
We are seeking a confident and professional HR leader who brings:
* Proven experience in human resources management, ideally gained within professional services or legal sectors
* Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practice
* An adaptable, hands-on approach with the ability to build credibility quickly
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
