For over 30 years, we've specialized in the installation and servicing of medical and laboratory gas systems, as well as mechanical pipework installation including chilled, heating and condenser water systems. About the role:
We're looking for someone reliable, practical, and ready to get stuck in. Your day-to-day will involve:
* Working on fit-outs for hospitals, day surgeries, laboratories, schools, and TAFEs.
* Installation of Operating Theatre lights, Gas Pendants, and specialist medical equipment.
* Installing mechanical services pipework (chilled water, heating systems, boilers, pumps, etc.)
* Installing / Servicing medical & laboratory gas reticulation systems.
* Following safety protocols and making sure everything's done to the highest standard.
You'll be supported by a small team of highly experienced professionals — some with 15+ years in the field — and will work directly with our directors and senior techs.
What we are looking for:
* A current qualification in plumbing and/or gas fitting. (minimum Certificate III)
* Experience in mechanical or medical gas installations (not needed but helpful)
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
* A focus on safe, tidy, and efficient work.
* Willingness to obtain a National police clearance and WWCC (Paid for by us)
