Producer / Project Manager - Brand activations & VM (Luxury and beauty retail specialist) Sydney (Lane Cove West) or Melbourne (Richmond)

We're looking for an experienced Producer / Project Manager with strong luxury and beauty retail experience to lead the end to end delivery of brand activations and VM projects. This is a hands on role focused on execution, quality, and detail, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
You'll manage projects from concept through to fabrication and installation, coordinating internal teams, external suppliers, and stakeholders along the way. You'll also act as a key client contact, building trusted relationships and ensuring clear communication, strong outcomes, and repeat success.
Role and responsibilities
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans
* Manage project deliverables in line with agreed timelines and budgets
* Oversee workflow from concept and design through to production and installation
* Manage multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity
* Identify, track and escalate project issues where necessary
* Resolve cross-functional challenges and keep delivery on track
* Liaise with stakeholders, including permits and council submissions
* Manage client and supplier relationships, in collaboration with the leadership team
* Monitor progress and performance, and provide regular status updates
* Collaborate with internal production teams and external partners to ensure flawless execution
* Be the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
* Manage subcontractors and install teams to deliver key outcomes
* Ensure all work meets quality standards and aligns with budget parameters
* Partner with in-house teams to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly
* Review design specs and project costings
* Align projects with business needs and strategic goals
* Be present and hands‐on during onsite installations
* Contribute to continuous improvement and help drive Dashing forward
Who you are... the non-negotiables
* 3-5+ years of solid, hands on project management experience delivering luxury retail, brand or event activations within the beauty and luxury retail space
* Proven experience working directly with luxury and beauty retail or brand clients
* Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality, technical brand activations and retail events end to end
* Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, manufacturing methods and visual merchandising
* Confident managing clients and stakeholders, with client facing experience at a mid to senior level
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly organised, solutions focused, and able to perform in a fast paced environment
* Comfortable working across systems, particularly Excel or Google Sheets. Experience with Monday.com is an advantage
* Curious and proactive when it comes to technology, with an interest in new tools and innovation
* Based in Sydney or Melbourne. Sydney based roles offer up to 2 days WFH per week. Melbourne based roles offer 1 day WFH per week
