Technical Business Analyst
12 Months Contract — Canberra. Baseline security clearance required.
DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our federal Government Client team. The Tech Business Analyst role is responsible for ongoing enhancement of business processes and solutions that support the delivery of the target state of the payments platform in alignment with the Agency's tech strategy and architecture principles.
Role responsibilities
* Liaise with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technology consultancy.
* Map end-to-end processes while consulting with the Business and Tech side to support the program of work including gathering business requirements, assessment and options analysis.
* Work with Solution Designers and Functional Consultants to develop End to End solution designs in line with business requirements.
* Define the data and process requirements to meet the business needs.
* Work with wider enterprise architecture teams to agree on a recommended solution for business problem statements.
* Represent Salesforce Business Architecture in organisation-wide strategic programs.
* Model both the current and future states of the business, engaging with relevant areas to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
* Apply a systems-thinking approach to visualise and communicate end-to-end processes, dependencies, and interactions in a platform-agnostic manner.
* Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to ensure business outcomes are aligned and successfully delivered.
* Evolve and refine the business architecture in alignment with the agency's strategic goals and objectives.
* Apply architectural principles to guide the development of effective, scalable, and sustainable business solutions.
Skills
* Bachelor of Science/Business in Information Technology or equivalent tertiary qualification is mandatory.
* At least 7 to 8 years of experience working in a similar role in large-scale implementations.
* Experience in large-scale tech transformation projects, preferably with ERP implementations.
* Excellent listening, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
* Experience working on cloud-based projects, including working with digital transformation teams, UX/CX designers, and accessible (Accessibility Compliant) applications.
* Familiar with deployment in public and private government-approved cloud and associated security considerations.
* Experience working in both Agile and Structured delivery environments and exposure to Salesforce Service Cloud and Insurance Industries.
* TOGAF certified or equivalent IT architectural qualification.
* Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
