Wangaratta Private Hospital has an opportunity for Hotel Services Assistants to join our friendly and collaborative Hotel Services, working between the patient catering and environmental services in a combined role of Food Services Assistant and Environmental Services Assistant in a Casual position offering flexible work-life balance.
This role will require you to
Maintaining food hygiene, a clean working area and safety practicesDeliver food & beverages to the hospital patients and staffEnsure a high standard of cleanliness through all areas of the hospital is maintained in line with infection control guidelinesWork productively in a team whilst independently managing your workload.Have availability across a 7 day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts.
Your Skills And Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will also be punctual, reliable and with a commitment to genuine, friendly customer service.
Previous experience in a catering or housekeeping role desirable, but not essential.Understanding of food safety and hygiene principlesExcellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focusCompliance with Food Safety and Workplace, Health and SafetyCertificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
