As a Carpenter, you'll play a vital role in keeping our hospitals running smoothly so care can happen without interruption. From responsive maintenance to minor upgrades, you'll work alongside a multi‐trade team to deliver safe, high‐quality environments for patients and staff.

* Delivering timely, high‐quality carpentry and joinery that keeps facilities safe, compliant and patient‐ready.
* Prioritising and completing maintenance requests efficiently, escalating risks early to minimise disruption.
* Partnering with trades, clinical teams and contractors to plan minor works that improve flow, access and experience.
* Embedding safe work practices and clear records that meet standards, optimise cost/time, and drive continuous improvement.

Here's What Will Help You Thrive In This Role
* QLD‐recognised Carpentry trade qualification and C‐class driver's licence.
* Strong knowledge of the Building Code of Australia, relevant Australian Standards and manufacturer specifications.
* Proven maintenance carpentry experience across repairs and minor works; delivers quality outcomes with minimal supervision.
* Safety‐first mindset: clear communicator, diligent record‐keeper; meets WHS, EEO and Anti‐Discrimination obligations; able to perform manual handling and pass P2/N95 fit‐testing and vaccination requirements.
You'll Stand Out If You Bring
* Experience in healthcare or large, complex facilities.
* Confidence quoting/estimating small works and improving processes.
