The position offers a competitive base salary of AUD 77000- 78000 per annum plus superannuation. Task & responsibilities Prepare and cook food for patrons, including daily meals and food specials Create and execute a diverse menu with a focus on quality, presentation, and seasonal specials Cater to dietary requirements to ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace Ensure all food preparation meets health, safety, and HACCP standards Contribute to menu development, including new ideas and concepts Support and guide kitchen staff where needed Coordinate with suppliers and support the Head Chef in key supplier engagements Manage inventory, including weekly stocktakes, receiving orders, and maintainingaccurate records Assist in the ordering process to ensure stock levels are maintained efficiently Qualification & experience Certificate IV or Diploma in Culinary Arts or a similar discipline A minimum of 1 year experience in culinary management or kitchen operations. Knowledge of menu development, food cost management, and general kitchen operations.
