**About the role**
The role can be based out of Brisbane or Melbourne and is within our Lincoln Sentry business enveloping leading brands in the cabinet hardware and architectural hardware markets. As a Senior Category Manager for Lincoln Sentry, you will be responsible for strategic category management, taking both a short and long-term view to grow and evolve the General Hardware and Consumables category through a highly commercial, customer-focused, and insight-led mindset.
**Responsibilities**
- Set the strategic direction for our category and sub-categories
- Efficiently utilise data to uncover opportunities and deliver recommendations to our customers
- Manage a big portfolio and be able to multitask and prioritise to make decisions on where to put focus for most return
- Lead an insight-led product life-cycle / innovation process focused on category development through a strong pipeline of profitable NPD and innovation initiatives
- Support the product groups within category portfolios to achieve their maximum sales, income, and profitability

**Skills & Experience**
- Demonstrated experience in a Category Management
- Experience in innovation, range planning, new product development and supplier management is preferable
- Successful track record of delivering commercial outcomes
- Proficient in Excel and other platforms of MS Suite
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Continuous improvement mindset, driver of new / improved systems and processes
- Tertiary qualification in Business Management / Marketing / Supply Chain
