We are seeking applications for a Nurse Practitioner to join our Oncology team on a permanent part-time basis.
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) assumes responsibility for comprehensive management and advanced nursing care of adult patients with oncological malignancies under the supervision of SJGHC medical oncologists and haematologists
This role entails delivering chemotherapy and infusion services, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care through expert clinical practice, leadership, education, research, and collaboration.
The Position
* Demonstrate autonomy, accountability and competence to provide comprehensive and holistic health assessment relevant to cancer care within an expanded clinical nursing role.
* Provide effective, autonomous and accountable patient care that incorporates an advanced level of knowledge and skills in cancer care.
* Demonstrate a high level of confidence and clinical proficiency in prescribing a range of therapeutic interventions that are evidence based and informed by specialist knowledge and in accordance with clinical guidelines.
* Engage in and lead clinical collaboration through clinical consultancy, collegial support, guidance and direction to members of the multidisciplinary team.
* Advise with the development and evaluation of relevant clinical standards and policies using an evidence-based approach.
* Initiate, implement and evaluate clinical research in cancer care in conjunction with appropriate colleagues.
The ideal candidate holds current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and has endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, they must possess a minimum of five years of cancer care practice and advanced clinical skills within the specialty.
Successful applicants must hold a valid WA drivers' licence and National Police Clearence.

We can offer you
* Salary: $132,322 to $159,392 (pro-rata for part-time) plus 12% Superannuation
* Permanent part-time, working 15 hours per week
