About the role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Carpenter to join our team. This role involves a combination of commercial and residential carpentry work including manufacturing joinery, cabinets, foyers as well as installation of hoardings, cladding and architraves etc.
Duties/Responsibilities
* Exposure to diverse commercial carpentry projects
* Timber & steel framing
* Internal and external wall claddings
* Manufacture and install of various types of doors & windows
* Heritage restoration works
* Undertake defect work to fix existing fittings
Requirements
* Experience in workshop set out, manufacture and assembly
* Experience working with a variety of materials including but not limited to solid timber, prefinished board, veneers, ply along with cut and edge.
* Strong problem-solving, communication and critical thinking skills
* Ability to thrive in a team environment and independently
* Installation experience is an advantage
* Pride in their quality of work
* Long term employment goals
* Trade qualified Certificate III in Carpentry
* Hold a current Drivers' license, White Card & Working with Children's Check
