Overview
Cat Napping Spotswood are looking for a casual cattery/office attendant to support the day-to-day running of the busy cattery. This role works with the current team to maintain a high standard of service.
Responsibilities
* Install a customer-focused culture and demonstrate and reinforce the highest level of customer service with all team members and clients
* Execute high attention to detail, efficiency and multitasking
* Feed cats as per their requirements
* Administer medication when required
* Clean cat cages and general cattery surroundings
* Provide cat enrichment
* Perform light administration duties as needed
Who you are / Qualifications
* A genuine love for cats
* Excellent general computer literacy
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A keen desire to always deliver excellent standards of customer service
* Physically fit and able to work in varying environments
* Ability to work with limited supervision
* Knowledge of cat health, breed, and behavioural requirements
* A licensed driver with access to a car
* Willing to be a team player and work at Tullamarine and Hoppers Crossing if asked
Work Details
* Shifts: mix of morning (9am - 1pm) and afternoon (3pm - 6pm) shifts over a 7-day rotating roster
* Average hours per week: 6 - 10 hours, with potential to grow to 10 - 20 hours in the future
* Open 365 days a year; willingness to work weekends and public holidays
* Experience: previous experience in a cattery/kennel or veterinary clinic preferred
* Training: full training will be provided
* Pay: $32.31 per hour
