What You'll Be Doing
- Setting new clients up for success, from onboarding and mastering complex Boolean searches to customising their accounts.
- Building, maintaining, and growing strong client relationships—you'll be their trusted media sidekick and key contact.
- Running training sessions to help government users master the platform (both virtual and face‑to‑face).
- Overseeing and contributing to major Federal Government client deployments and managing key project tasks.
- Acting as an escalation point for Government‑specific enquiries, tasks, and projects across the company.
- Proactively spotting important media, key events, and issues, and relaying these insights to clients and internal teams.
- Creating reports, transcripts, and summaries that make media meaningful and actionable for government decision‑makers.
About You
This role is perfect for someone with experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Corporate Customer Support who is organised, client‑focused, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Must‑Haves
- Australian permanent residency or citizenship.
- 1-2 years experience in a Customer Success or Account Manager position.
- Strong customer‑facing skills with the ability to take initiative, maintain composure, and solve problems effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An energetic, media‑savvy go‑getter with a positive, can‑do attitude.
Bonus Points
- Keen personal interest in the Australian Media Landscape.
- Prior experience with media monitoring, data/analytics, or social listening tools.
- Experience with Boolean Search, CRM tools, or project management software.
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications/Media/Public Relations or a related field.
