Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Folder Operator to join our manufacturing team in Geelong. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our folding machinery, contributing to the overall productivity and quality of our production processes.
Responsibilities:
* Operate folder machine to process steel coil into building products in accordance with customer specifications
* Operate machine to quality and safety standards
* Ensure all material is appropriately labelled
* Communicate directly with supervisor/manager regarding safety, quality or production issues
* Ensure work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner
Qualifications:
* Experience in operating a Slitter/Folder Machine, or similar machinery
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Building product knowledge or steel handling experience is desirable
Conditions & Benefits
* Full-time day shift permanent position 6am – 2pm with optional overtime
* Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week
