Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Corporate Affairs and Legal Manager. This key role will involve working at the forefront of strategic governance, legal oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with senior stakeholders, this position plays a critical role in advancing complex policy agendas and high-level initiatives.
* Providing sound legal knowledge, particularly in relation to the Aboriginal Land Rights (NT) Act 1976 (Cth), and demonstrated capability in executive support, ministerial liaison, and multi-sector collaboration.
* Navigating complex cultural and political contexts to help realise our mission.
About You:
* An articulate and principled professional with proven experience in corporate affairs and legal management.
* Able to travel regularly to remote locations, including the Groote Archipelago.
* Familiarity with Australian laws and regulations, particularly in relation to indigenous land rights.
