CERTIFICATE III ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION
Please Note: This is NOT a trade qualification to become an Electrician. This is an Electronics Technician trade apprenticeship
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
> Enjoy mathematical and technical activities
> Good hand-eye coordination
> Good eyesight (may be corrected) and normal colour vision
> Diagnostic ability
> An aptitude for mechanics and electronics
> Able to do precise and detailed work
> Good communication skills
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
> Must be an Australian Citizen or have right to work in this country
> Tertiary graduates need not apply
Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is a Group Training Organisation who employs apprentices and trainees then places them with Host Organisations. We provide support for all apprentices and trainees by way of our mentoring program which fits in with a regular cycle of visiting in the workplace and training provider. We are there to assist and guide you through not only the apprenticeship/traineeship but where necessary provide support and assistance to allow you to successfully complete your work and training commitments and gain your qualification.
A Certificate III Electronics and Communication Apprenticeship will involve:
> Operate and Monitor Communications Systems
> Maintain Quality Systems within the Team
> Monitor Compliance Occupational Health and Safety Policy and Procedures
> Monitor and Implement Environmental Plans and Procedures
> Conduct Operational Checks on In-service Electronic Plant
> Diagnose and Repair Faults in Electronic Equipment
> Diagnose and Repair Faults in Complex Electronic Equipment
> Test and Commission Complex Electronic Equipment
> Diagnose and Repair Faults in Complex Instrumentation Equipment
> Perform Electronic Drafting
> Conduct and Perform Testing on Process Plant and Equipment
> Conduct Routine Generation Electronics Maintenance
> Coordinate the Network/System
> Manage Critical Incidents
