We are seeking an Aged Care Finance Officer who will oversee all financial processes associated with a resident's journey, including fees, RADs/DAPs, admissions documentation, waiting list management, discharge processing and legislative compliance. You will be the key link between families, facility managers, external stakeholders and government departments, ensuring clarity, accuracy and confidence at every stage. This role also leads essential reporting to the Executive and the Department of Social Services and coordinates our annual prudential audit. Our preferred candidate will have:
* Ability to work with a wide variety of people at all levels with minimal supervision.

* Sound computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
* Excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Commitment to corporate vision, mission values and agreed critical strategies.
The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:
* Relevant qualifications or experience in accounting or bookkeeping and aged care legislation.
* Experience in computerized accounting systems such as MANAD.
* Knowledge of privacy legislation and document control.
* Previous experience within an aged care or health environment.
* Be available for and attend meetings with residents' families on an ad-hoc basis.
IMPORTANT:Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
