Are you ready to power the future of utilities? We're seeking a skilled Operational Technology (OT) Control Systems Engineer to join our client's dynamic team and help drive innovation across our infrastructure and energy systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain OT systems across utility operations.
- Support and troubleshoot industrial control systems including PLCs, RTUs, and SCADA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and reliable industrial networking.
- Contribute to the integration of renewable energy technologies and advanced data systems.
- Performance, Service Delivery and Solutions Delivery.
- Providing services to enhance business and operational outcomes with a focus on processes and automation.
- Improving plant capability, safety, and reliability by improving proactive maintenance systems
- IGNITION SCADA systems - Ideally Gold Certified
- Exposure to Renewable Energy projects.
- Familiarity with OSIsoft PI System for data management.
- Knowledge of ComAp control systems.
- Industrial Networking and Protocols
- Reviewing asset design deliverables
- Clear and accurate documentation
- Network troubleshooting
- Participate in testing and commissioning of new projects
- Must have Energy/ Power Experience
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Citect SCADA systems.
- Hands-on experience with AB ControlLogix (CTLX) PLCs.
- Strong understanding of RTU technologies.
- Solid foundation in Industrial Networking protocols and architecture.
- Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in an OT or Control Systems Engineering role.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years previous experience in control systems and/ or electrical engineering support
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Mechatronic or Control Systems Engineering
- Competent in Ignition SCADA
