Job Title: Senior Exploration Geophysicist
The role of a Senior Exploration Geophysicist is crucial in the pursuit of energy exploration and innovation.
As a seasoned geophysicist, you will contribute to high-impact projects that shape the future of energy in Malaysia and beyond.
* Lead geophysical data analysis, interpretation, and synthesis to support exploration activities.
* Contribute to geological model development in integrated geoscience projects.
* Support play and prospect evaluations and new venture assessments.
* Validate new evaluation methods and ensure best practices in data management.
* Mentor junior geophysicists and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
* Represent the geophysical discipline in technical evaluations and partner engagements.
* Ensure compliance with HSE and geoscience standards.
* A university degree in MSc in Engineering, Geology, or Geophysics; PhD in Geophysics is a plus.
* 10+ years of professional experience in geoscience and exploration.
* Proven experience in seismic survey design, acquisition monitoring, and processing supervision.
* Deep understanding of Malaysia's energy landscape and regulatory frameworks.
* A curious mind, a collaborative spirit, and a knack for critical thinking.
