Unibale is a premier, large-scale agricultural enterprise based in the heart of Moree, NSW—widely recognized as the \"Cotton Capital of Australia.\" Our operations span over 5,000 hectares of prime agricultural land, dedicated to the high-yield production of Cotton as our primary crop, alongside other regional staples including Wheat, Durum, and Chickpeas. About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and cross-disciplinary Agricultural Consultant to join our operations. The successful candidate will possess a rich knowledge base in agricultural cash crops and a proven ability to solve complex problems encountered in agricultural production. In this role, you will apply data analysis, on-field methodologies, and collaborative discussions to optimize agricultural practices and enhance overall productivity. You will act as a vital bridge between on-the-ground farming operations and technological/market integration, leveraging your multi-faceted perspective to drive sustainable growth

Key Responsibilities:

* Seasonal Crop Strategic Planning: Develop and execute annual planting, crop rotation, and resource allocation plans for a 5,000-hectare farm, focusing on summer Cotton and winter crops such as Wheat, Durum, and Chickpeas.
* Soil Health and Nutrient Management: Conduct regular analysis of soil samples to determine optimal fertilizer ratios and soil amendment strategies to ensure long-term land sustainability.
* Water Resource and Irrigation Optimization: Provide expert technical guidance on irrigation scheduling, water volume management, and drainage techniques, particularly for maximizing yields in irrigated cotton during extreme weather conditions.
* Integrated Pest Management (IPM): Monitor and identify local pests and diseases, developing customized biological and chemical control plans to minimize chemical inputs while ensuring crop health.
* Precision Agriculture Data Analysis: Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and remote sensing data to monitor crop growth across 5,000 hectares, performing data modeling to predict yields and provide strategic decision support.
* Market Intelligence and Distribution Strategy: Conduct in-depth analysis of agricultural production costs and bulk commodity futures price fluctuations to advise management on pricing strategies and optimal sales timing.
* Technical Integration and Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with management and research institutions to implement innovative agricultural practices and utilize digital tools to enhance the efficiency of raw material procurement and product distribution.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above. Majors in Agriculture, Horticulture and other related fields are preferred.
* Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience as an Agricultural Consultant or Senior Agronomist, with a proven track record of guiding large-scale agricultural enterprises to achieve increased crop yields.
* Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in spatial analysis software such as ARCGIS, and the ability to use various software and AI tools for agricultural big data processing and climate simulation.
* Specialized Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of crop protection, soil fertility management, and agro-meteorology, with the ability to translate complex scientific data into actionable farming advice.
* Communication Excellence: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of establishing effective communication channels with on-field operators, technical experts, and executive management.
* Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.

Remuneration & Benefits:

Base Salary: $95,000 to $110,000 per annum(depending on experiences) + Superannuation.

Housing Support: To assist with your relocation to the Moree region, the company provides complimentary on-site accommodation or a monthly rental subsidy aligned with local market rates.
