Working closely with our Partners and the wider team, you will gain exposure to the most complex and interesting transactions in the market. You'll have the privilege of advising clients from almost every sector, from government and healthcare through to infrastructure, media and banking.At Allens, our structure means you'll get exposure to a number of different Partners within your practice group and a wide variety of work and jurisdiction. We encourage our lawyers to find their niche and specialise in areas they're interested in, while building a strong foundation across their field.The range of services provided by the Real Estate and Development team is varied. Your role within the team could typically include advising our clients on:Significant commercial development, urban renewal and infrastructure projects, including commercial office towers, industrial facilities, build-to-rent projects, mixed use precincts and renewable energy projects.Acquisitions and disposals of assets of all types of property classes, including commercial, retail, industrial, residential and hotels.Sale and leaseback transactions.Tourist resorts and mixed-use developments and operation.Joint venture and co-ownership arrangements.Leasing and lease negotiation.Real estate aspects of M&A transactions.General real estate issues such as subdivisions, enforcement of securities and financing.This is a permanent, full-time opportunity; however, flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.About youYou will have:Experience in a Real Estate team within a reputable law firm (we are also open to a combination of private practice and in-house experience).Experience in the acquisition, development and sale of real estate assets.The ability to effectively manage matters autonomously and as part of a team.A willingness to participate in business development activities, such as pitch documents, firm-wide pursuits, article writing, attending industry events and hosting seminars.A desire to learn, grow, network, and mentor others.Your developmentIn joining Allens, you will receive unparalleled learning and development opportunities.
