If you've got solid experience in supply chain, particularly at least three years in purchasing or buyer roles, this could be your next gig.
The Gig
As a Materials Buyer/Planner, your role will be the linchpin in a fast-moving supply chain environment.
You'll need to be on your game, as you'll be actioning a bustling inbox of inbound orders, ensuring purchasing is smooth and timely.
You'll also own your purchasing schedule, leveraging the MRP to analyse fluctuating demand, track supplies and place purchase orders to make sure everything is exactly where it needs to be. You'll run and analyse reports to keep the schedule accurate and up to date.
Collaboration will be key. You'll work closely with suppliers and internal teams like demand planning, customer service and operations to make sure everything stays on track.
Materials flow. Schedules stay on track. And everyone sleeps better knowing you've got it handled.
At the end of the day, your job is important, and it will impact the whole business.
This is an ongoing role attracting full-time hours, with a strong possibility of permanent employment.

You
You have solid experience working in a supply chain environment, with at least three years in a purchasing or buyer/planner role. If you've got more experience under your belt, even better – you'll hit the ground running.
You know how to problem-solve under pressure and build strong relationships.
You've worked with ERP or MRP systems and know how to use them for purchasing. If you've used SAP, that's a big tick, but no worries if not.
You're organised, switched on and know how to step up when you've got a high volume of purchase orders to action.
