In this role, you’ll lead a dedicated team of Counsellor Advocates who deliver specialist counselling to children, young people, and adults affected by sexual assault, as well as their support networks. You’ll also oversee therapeutic services and interventions for children and young people displaying harmful sexual behaviours.
As a leader, you’ll inspire, support, and develop your team to foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and innovation.
The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the personal, social, and community issues surrounding sexual assault, family violence, and complex interpersonal trauma.
You will have:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology and/or related behavioural sciences at degree level.
Previous leadership experience and skills managing a team of therapeutic specialists.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the issues of sexual & family violence.
Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check
