As Facility Maintenance Project Supervisor, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of capital renewal programs across a diverse portfolio of Council facilities. From concept to completion, you'll manage projects that improve community spaces while ensuring value, quality, and efficiency. You'll drive projects that keep the City's facilities safe, modern, and operational while delivering measurable value to stakeholders and the community.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of capital renewal and facility maintenance projects from initiation through to completion.
* Manage contractors, oversee procurement processes, and administer contracts in accordance with relevant standards and policies.
* Prepare, monitor and report on project budgets and capital works programs.
* Lead and support project staff while coordinating multidisciplinary teams to achieve project outcomes.
* Communicate effectively with internal departments, consultants, contractors and community stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Proven ability to plan, coordinate and deliver facility maintenance or capital renewal projects from initiation through to completion.
* Experience managing contractors, overseeing procurement processes, and administering contracts in accordance with relevant standards and policies.
* Strong capability in preparing, monitoring, and reporting on project budgets and capital works programs.
* Experience leading and supporting project staff while coordinating multidisciplinary teams to achieve project outcomes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal departments, consultants, contractors, and community stakeholders.
* Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or a related field, with relevant experience in facility maintenance, infrastructure, or project management environments.
