Motor claims consultant (sydney)

Our established and diverse Motor team is searching for Claims Consultants to manage a portfolio of differentiating motor claims in a fast‐paced environment. The role involves dealing directly with Third Parties, Loss Adjusters, NSW Government Agencies and providing support to staff while building strong client relationships.

• End to end motor claims management
• Raise payments and settle claims with client service instructions, company guidelines and delegated authority
• Achieve monthly productivity levels as designated by management
• Resolve complaints in accordance with company guidelines
• Find opportunities for process improvement and recognise potential fraud/recovery indicators for claims where applicable

• Motor claims insurance experience is highly desirable; General Insurance claims or corporate customer service experience also acceptable
• Passion and drive to take ownership of your own claim's portfolio
• Outstanding organisational and time‐management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Energy and flexibility to work with the Corporate team and support projects critical to the long‐term business plan
• Ability to comply with relevant state legislation
• Insurance policy interpretation skills
