The role
Role Overview
Our established and diverse Motor team is searching for Claims Consultants to manage a portfolio of differentiating motor claims in a fast‐paced environment. The role involves dealing directly with Third Parties, Loss Adjusters, NSW Government Agencies and providing support to staff while building strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- End to end motor claims management
- Raise payments and settle claims with client service instructions, company guidelines and delegated authority
- Achieve monthly productivity levels as designated by management
- Resolve complaints in accordance with company guidelines
- Find opportunities for process improvement and recognise potential fraud/recovery indicators for claims where applicable
Qualifications
- Motor claims insurance experience is highly desirable; General Insurance claims or corporate customer service experience also acceptable
- Passion and drive to take ownership of your own claim's portfolio
- Outstanding organisational and time‐management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Energy and flexibility to work with the Corporate team and support projects critical to the long‐term business plan
- Ability to comply with relevant state legislation
- Insurance policy interpretation skills
- Stakeholder management
