This is an exceptional opportunity to work directly with Anton Murray Consulting, as an Executive on the Sydney recruitment team working in support of asset management, investment banking & wealth management clients across Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore & Hong Kong.
We are a leading financial services recruitment consulting firm, and we work with many of the largest Investment Banks, Asset Managers, Private Wealth Managers and Trading Firms in the APAC region. We have exceptional relationships at a senior level with the most prominent financial services clients across our four coverage locations of Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore and Hong Kong. This is a unique opportunity to work for a leading financial services consulting firm as a graduate with a view to step up into a sales capacity within 12-18 months.
We run a smallprofitable team and we are looking to grow our Sydney team on the back of a strong pipeline of work coming in over the next 6-18 months.
Ideally you will be articulate, confident and eager to work in an HR / recruitment related position where you can be rewarded based on hard-work and your capacity to generate revenue for our business.
You will ideally be a recent graduate and we will consider applicants with 1-3 years of post-graduate experience within financial markets, clients services or sales.
Who is the ideal person for this role?
- We run a small team in Sydney, so most importantly the right team and cultural fit is paramount for this opportunity
- We are seeking a sharp recent graduate (or close to completion) with a B.Business, B.Human Resources, B.Finance, B.Commerce degree ideally with 1-3 years of prior financial services experience (ideally with client services or sales or relationship management focused) with strong communication and presentation skills
- Graduates with minimal or only internship experience may also be considered depending on your capacity to develop based on your interpersonal qualities
- This is a great opportunity for a dynamic grad to learn and be mentored by a team of senior recruitment consultants with over 30 years of experience between the team

Prerequisites
- University educated, or close to completion. We are interested in applicants who come from a notable high school background, who have part or fully completed university education. We would be interested in applicants with a diverse education background for example, B.Ag.Ec. or B.Arts or across a range of diverse university disciplines – so applicants with minimal or no financial services knowledge will also be considered
- Some prior understanding of financial markets, and ideally previous financial services work experience across our 3 coverage areas of Investment Banking, Asset Management and Wealth Management would be held in high regard
- Strong sales, client services and business development skills – or capacity to learn these skills
- Strong communication skills with an ability to build rapport with both clients & candidates over the phone, at coffee meetings and over an informal client lunch
- Importantly, you should have a robust desire to make money, enjoy a chat over a beer and want to have fun at work!
