We currently have an opening for a Boiler & Machinery Consultant Engineer based in our Perth office. This is a permanent, full-time position Responsibilities: Interact with high hazard FM clients within the Mining, Power Generation, Chemical, Pulp & Paper industries. Use expertise to consult with clients to protect their facilities against mechanical and electrical breakdowns, fire, and many other hazards. Develop strong client relationships to advise on risks associated with client businesses. Develop and implement risk improvement strategies. The role will require regular travel to client facilities. The role involves international travel to the U.S in the first 12-18 months, as part of the Consultant Engineer training, and frequent domestic travel (approx. 60-80 nights away each year after the training period). _Excited about this role, but not sure if you meet 100% of the criteria? We would still love to hear from you!_ Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering 5 Years engineering experience, and time spent working in mining or power generation industries is highly preferred Must possess knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems such as turbines, Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG), boilers, generators, and knowledge of safety devices. Demonstrated experience to understand basic machinery and equipment along with hands on exposure. Valid Passport, and the ability to travel without restrictions and within a few months of hire date, to various global locations including the United States. This is a requirement of the role, as a significant element of all new engineering hire training is conducted outside of Australia Strong verbal and written communications skills, including fluency in English language.
