**ROLE
**The Security Admin Officer position is part of a busy team responsible for undertaking security clearance
maintenance activities. You will be responsible for general administrative support and coordination of
documentation relevant to maintaining security clearances. Security-related experience is not required
applicant will receive relevant on-the-job training to exercise discretion and sound judgement in providing
general security advice to stakeholders based on legislation and policy.
You are required to organise workflow and make sound decisions relating to the development and delivery
of the security clearance maintenance capability. The role involves liaison with internal and external
team.

**LEVEL 4**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS**

Work as part of a team contributing to the development and delivery of the clearance
maintenance capability;
Accurate data entry and maintenance of digitised records;
Contribute to compliance, including risk management and mitigation;
Provide general security advice to internal and external stakeholders which aligns with best
practice, policy and legislation;
Support best practice workflows within the team.

**LEVEL 5**:

Work under limited supervision as part of a team contributing to the development and delivery of
the clearance maintenance capability;
Contribute to compliance, including risk management and mitigation;
Provide professional advice and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders on security
risk mitigation which aligns with best practice, policy and legislation;
Develop plans and objectives to support best practice workflows within the team;
Contribute to reporting for key internal and external stakeholders.

There are no formal educational requirements for this role however the following will be highly regarded:
Experience encompassing the Core Skills outlined above.
