Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Store Manager to lead our team. In this key leadership role, you will oversee a team of 10 staff members, ensuring efficient daily operations while upholding our strong commitment to quality, safety, and service excellence.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store, including sales performance, customer service, and inventory control.
Prepare and present operational and performance reports to the General Manager.
Monitor stock levels and place weekly orders to maintain adequate inventory.
Manage slow-moving products, customer returns, and stock loss issues effectively.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
Develop staff rosters and assign daily tasks to team members.
Collaborate with the General Manager on budgeting, pricing, and financial planning.
Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring consistent performance during all shifts.
Contribute to new product development through market research, strategic planning, pricing, and promotional initiatives.
Serve as the Food Safety Supervisor, ensuring adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and workplace health and safety standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Hold an AQF Diploma or higher, or possess at least one year of relevant work experience. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a talent for motivating teams and fostering a positive work culture. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proven experience in retail management, preferably within the manufacturing or food production sectors.
Comprehensive understanding of retail operations, compliance, and administrative processes. Proficient in Microsoft Office, accounting software, and other business tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time management skills with a proactive and safety-focused mindset.
