This is a permanent role offering an excellent career opportunity to support the migration of MARS - the Management and Reporting System developed by QRA to support councils and state agencies with all funding applications administered by QRA - from its existing on-premise Dynamics 365 environment to a cloud-based Dynamics 365 platform.

About The Division
The Corporate Services Division provides a range of specialised performance enabling functions that support QRA to meet its compliance obligations, operate efficiently, and achieve its strategic priorities.
About The Role
* Manage, develop, enhance, and maintain QRA's applications to meet the business and operational needs of both QRA and external stakeholders.
* Work with the team, manager, and senior leadership in delivering application development and services using a project management approach.
* Develop and deliver complex solutions that meet client business requirements, managing the development lifecycle from scoping to build, testing, release, and support.
* Lead and facilitate the development and evaluation of plans, strategies, and standards for programming tools and techniques to meet long-term application service requirements.
* Assist in developing and maintaining documentation, including design documents, quality plans, processes, and procedures.
* Engage with clients to clarify business requirements and develop options for resolution through applications.
* Analyze current on-premise Dynamics 365 instances to identify reengineering or redevelopment needs for migration to the cloud.
* Redevelop Dynamics 365 workflows and integrations to align with cloud architecture best practices.
* Refactor existing .NET-based APIs for compatibility with Dynamics 365 cloud, enhancing scalability, maintainability, and security.
* Plan and execute data migration activities, including mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
* Provide technical leadership on applications projects and contribute to innovative solutions through custom application development.
* Ensure quality standards are met, including unit testing, peer reviews, and documentation.
* Update organisational and agency clients on project status and resolve challenging issues.
* Build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders.
* Participate actively in agile ceremonies and team meetings.
* Identify and report issues and risks.
* Support the delivery of new functionalities, including training and training materials.
* Provide technical advice to management on application opportunities and improvements.
* Undertake other duties of similar complexity as required.
