About the role
The Area Manager's (AM) primary responsibility is to ensure the effective and efficient management of all aspects of service delivery for designated accounts and improve outcomes for both clients and staff for our Central Coast / Northern Region Operations.
You will oversee technical operations and business development efforts to grow and expand our portfolio, with a focus on delivering a customer-centric approach to our clients and customers, ensuring our people are aligned with our values and standards.
About the Role: As Area Manager for NIS Security, Central Coast, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver top-notch security manpower /technology services. You'll manage operations, drive business development growth, ensure client satisfaction, and maintain staff safety with your leadership, knowledge & skill-based experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership, ensuring operational excellence and support and empowerment
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across commercial and housing markets
* Work closely with clients to expand exciting accounts with design-tailored security solutions
* Handle client queries and build strong stakeholder relationships, including with local law enforcement/emergency services
* Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes and submissions.
* Collaborate with the General Managers, Technology / Protective Services on account strategies to increase market share
* Lead the adoption of company solutions for efficiency.
* Manage the administration of audits, payroll, rostering, and leave balances.
* Ensure compliance with policies, contracts, and regulations.
* Mentor high-potential staff.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
* 5+ years in security services operations and business development/sales.
* Current NSW driver's licence and white card
* Proven track record in operations and client relationship management.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise under deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong technical knowledge of electronic security systems
* Strategic mindset to identify new opportunities and grow accounts.
* Relevant NSW Security License and qualifications.
* Ability to work independently and with senior leadership.
